This site is a scam!

Sorry to shock you there. This whole aloe nonsense is just rubbish, as with any pyramid scheme the only way to make money from this business is to recruit more people to do the selling, who hire more to do the selling.... you get the idea. Sorry. If they were keen to actually sell this stuff, you think they might not let their domain lapse so that people like me could buy it.

OK, little excerpt from their own literature [edit: they have since taken this down - oh the shame!]:

"Around the World there are approximately 3,000 companies of this kind, with 10 Million distributors, marketing over ten Billion worth of goods and services annually. It is estimated that collectively the Network Marketing industry in the UK is growing at 15-20 percent per annum."

1. Lets look at the numbers there shall we. 10 million people, "marketing" 10 billion worth of product (in what currency??) per annum. That equates to 1000 (dollars, pounds, yen?) per year. Now I don't know about you guys but I couldn't live off that even if it was sterling.
2. Note, they didn't say "sold 10 billion", they said marketing... nice and vague. So we can presume that the 1000 per distributor is not profit but is, at best, turnover. So at a very generous 20% profit margin that will net you 200 dollars, pounds, donuts, whatever. Sign me up!!

1. This is unethical in the extreme. Show me who has hailed pyramid schemes as a way of getting back in control of your life, and I will show you someone who has bought into this crap already.

You know what? I could sit here all day and pour scorn on these people, but to be honest they are not worth my time. I honestly don't know whether to feel pity at their naivity, or be angry at them perpetuating a horric and potentially damaging business model.

They should all be ashamed at themselves. Little light reading for anyone interested.
